Depart your central Sharm-el-sheik hotel or central Sharm-el-Sheikh meeting point by air-conditioned vehicle and travel to the departure jetty for your glass-bottom boat trip.
Step aboard your comfortable boat, and take in the views of the Sinai coast as you cruise from Naama Bay to both the Near Garden and Far Garden — two areas of reefs known by snorkelers and divers for their spectacular corals and abundant marine life.
Here, gaze through the panoramic floor windows onto the aquatic world below. Marvel at the vibrantly colored coral heads, soft corals and fan gardens; and watch transfixed as swarms of bright fish, such as damselfish, groupers, angelfish and clownfish, waft through the transparent waters.
Watch, too, for octopus, moray eels and spotted rays, and with luck, perhaps even see a turtle or two swim by — it’s akin to viewing a gigantic, vast aquarium.
